Twitter is rolling out its new feature that users had been awaiting for too long: bigger image previews. This way, the image is not cropped so much in its preview, so it gives a better idea of what the photo really is.
The social media company had announced back in March that it would be testing the progress of this feature on iOS and Android, and is now finally making it available to all users.
In addition to that, Twitter has also recently updated images on its platform to 4K, which means that the previews will only appear clearer and even better now.
Earlier, with cropped previews, some tweets would become so embarrassing as the preview would focus on the wrong part of the image because of Twitter’s cropping algorithm. Thankfully, Twitter users won’t have to bear with poorly cropped images anymore.
