Apple has announced one of its biggest features that will be available with its upcoming update to the Wallet app. After the update, iPhone users will be able to use their phone as digital identification in some selected airports in the USA.
You will be able to scan your state ID or driver’s license through the phone’s camera that will be stored in the secure enclave of your iPhone. According to the company, they are working in collaboration with TSA in order to enable the feature of using the iPhone at the security checkpoints of airports.
Not only this, but you will also be able to receive your hotel room card on the Apple Wallet App. This will provide you with the key to your hotel room even before your arrival in the hotel. Moreover, the tech giant will also bring home and work keys to its Wallet App for better convenience. You will also be getting the key feature on your Apple Watch soon.
