Twitter launched its Live Audio feature ‘Spaces’ in December. After making the feature available for both iOS and Android devices, Twitter is now bringing Spaces to its desktop and mobile website.

According to Twitter, web users can preview a Space in a popup window before joining, where they can see a description and some or all of the participants based on the size of the room.

After entering a Space, users can also continue their browsing while the Space is displayed as a minimized window on the right-hand side. The popup will also show transcriptions for deaf and hard of hearing users, as well as those who may want to keep the sound off.

Moreover, Twitter announced that it will add captions and labels to Spaces to make the feature more accessible, and that accessibility and transcription are among its focus areas for the web version of Spaces. The company is also working on the Spaces’ infrastructure and user interface to learn how to adapt the feature to a listener's screen size in the best possible way.
