According to the infographic, Scandinavia remains the happiest place in the world with its three countries including Finland, Iceland, and Denmark resting at the top 3 positions by an index value. When the entire world was locked down and extremely worried after the Covid-19 breakout, the index value for these happiest countries remained the same.
Switzerland moved to 4th place in 2020, two positions up since 2019 whereas, Germany on the other hand made a huge leap over ten ranks and now settles at 7th place. Since Canada has fallen to 15th position, New Zealand is the only non-European country making its way into the top 10 happiest countries.
