What's your main news source online? This infographic from Semrush recently analyzed what the most searched news sites were in every state across America over the course of 2020. According to the data, which was pulled from Google Trends, the five most searched news websites overall across the United States were Yahoo! News (175 million unique monthly viewers), Google News (150 million), HuffPost (110 million), CNN (95 million) and The New York Times (70 millions). For the most searched, Yahoo! News, the five metro areas across the country that searched it the most were Eureka, California (Popularity Score of 100), Parkersburg, West Virginia (90), St. Joseph, Missouri (87), Alpena, Michigan (85) and Corpus Christi, Texas (75).
In fact, Eureka, California was the metro area that searched the top three news sites the most, with those being Yahoo! News, Google News and HuffPost. Throughout 2020, what was the most searched news site in your home state?
