Twitter continues its work on the emoji-reactions on tweets

The social media giant Twitter is working on some emoji-reactions for the tweets that will help the users to express their feelings regarding a specific post through emoji response.

A reverse engineering expert, Jane Manchun Wong tweeted how the new emoji reactions would look like. The new options that will be integrated for the reactions include, Cheer, Hmm, Sad, and Haha.

The company has chosen these responses on the basis of the most used emojis over the platform in 2020 that are crying while laughing, crying, eye roll, sad, loved, heart eyes, confused, upset, and more. This shows that Twitter has amalgamated all of the top used emojis and created the top 4 reactions that can cover up all these emojis so that more and more people can relate and react accordingly.

Twitter was testing out this emoji response for a long time now therefore, is not a major reveal or a big surprise to the users.
