As the infographic shows, Benjamin Netanyahu has spent the longest time in office as the Prime Minister of Israel. He was the ninth elected Prime Minister of the country and had been in the position since 2009.

However, the current elections in the country resulted in the victory of Naftali Bennett as the newly elected Prime Minister for Israel. The right-wing party of Bennet won by an extremely close majority of 60 to 59. Bennet will have the power of Prime Minister till September 2023. Leader of Yesh Atid, Yair Lapid is the alternate Prime Minister of Israel as per the power-sharing deal.
Netanyahu served five terms in the office as an Israeli Prime Minister. His first-ever serving years were 1996 to 1999. After that, he stayed unbelievably long in the office from 2009 to 2021, these account for a total of 15 years of Netanyahu’s service.

The founder and Prime Minister of Israel, David Ben-Gurion, holds second place with a total serving time of 13 years and 127 days. Yitzhak Shamir rounds up third place as the third-longest Prime Minister of Israel with a total of 6 years and 242 days in the office.
